In many instances players' clubs can be improperly
calibrated resulting in inconsistent direction and distance when playing a shot.

Accurate adjustment of club length, loft and lie angles has proven to
improve the game of tour players and amateurs alike.

At clubgolf we have a number of trained staff on hand to assist in the custom fitting of your
clubs. |
Club Length
|
Club length is the measurment of the length
of the club shaft.

Longer shafts result in increased club head speeds and greater distances.

Players' height is the most important factor when determining club length and generally, shorter players require slightly
shorter clubs.

There are exceptions to the rule, however, such as the length of a players arms and their personal preferences.
|
Lie Angle
|
Lie angle is a measurement of the angle between
the sole of the club and the centre line of the shaft.

Clubs which are too flat can cause golfers to push shots which may ultimately fade, while clubs with too upright a
lie will cause shots to be pulled which may also draw. Other problems may also arise from the heel or toe of the club
digging into the turf.

Generally, shorter players require flatter lie angles whereas taller players require more upright angles.
